I know a lot of players read the Baltimore Sun blog. How many made the jump to this one is undertermined, but if it's social media, they are usually up on it.

RT. IMO the issue with laying out names of players will lead to harsh critcism if folks have a different viewpoint of the players named. There are some players that have been named on the other board that I feel are not as good as some may believe. I know a lot of players read this board and don't want them to feel embarrassed. Just my opinion! I don't think seeing something negative bothers many College age players, they are use to it by that point in their lives. I think that it usually either just rolls off or motivates them. I'm guessing that it probably bothers their parents and coaches (past and present) more than the players. Do you really think that "a lot of players read this board"? Most of the players are either on Twitter or Facebook, not on boards like these. For one thing, they are busy with practice, school work and what social life they have time for. I'm pretty sure they don't want to get on a message board and talk about softball.

The only chance that a player looked at the Sun Board was if they heard one of their parents crying about something that was posted !!!
