TNT Last Look in Quakertown got some games in yesterday. Today and tomorrow was cancelled. Anyone know how the local teams fared? Hornets were able to get in their scheduled game last night at five and a pick-up game at 9:30 last night. Teams were playing until 11:30 or so and there were plenty of coaches, apparently. Hornets tied Pennsbury Gems 3-3 and beat Conklin Raiders 3-1. Which Hornets' team is this ...

More scores: Glory Gold beat Pennsbury Gems 3-0, beat Pittsburgh Power 15-5, and tied Jersery Sparks 4-4. Trying to find more scores, including the Lady O's.
BTW I heard Randy was on his best behavior must have seen the post on USSSA, that won't last.
I too heard that there were a lot of college coaches in attendance. Too bad the weather stunk it up.

In addition, Glory Gold has the same number of Maryland players as does Wagners Gold.
Wagners Gold has players from Fl to Ma but only a few MD players were recruited for their team. It seems the mentality at the Gold level travel teams and our local universities is to recruit out of state. This is why we see some of our best pitchers in the state go to NC and many of our elite gold players must go to VA, PA or even NJ to find a home.
Glory Gold qualified for 2012 Gold Nationals in OK next summer. It is always fun to follow our Gold Teams from the East Coast as they compete against Top Level Gold from around the country.

Very few gold level teams get all their players from one state. States like California, Fla, Ariz, etc. can do it because of the high level of softball there.

They have a player from Liberty HS and one from Glenelg. The one, Noble, is from Centreville. Md, I suppose?

georgejetson- I noticed you never posted those Lady O's scores for TNT. They are now posted on their website ladyoriolesgold.com along with lots of hyperbole, bad grammar, and excuses as to why they went 0-4 in Richmond and lost to the Olney Cougars.
