Player Development and Elite team opportunity
DC Elite Grays holds open player workouts for players Every Thursday to work on skills and to identify players for our elite player development program and teams. Work outs are held at Jackie Robinson Field 3375 Minnesota Ave., SE on Ely place behind the washington Nationals youth academy 630 - 8pm We are a part of the DC Grays RBI softball program with minimum participation fees for players through the support of the DC Grays college summer baseball program. Our program was started 2 years ago as part of MLB reviving players in the inner city and the softball program has had great success competing in regional RBI tournaments and hosting development tournaments and events. Program players 12-18 are identified for future college playing opportunities and are selected to national and local EDI camps (Elite Development Camps) in partnership with USA Softball at no cost to selected participants.
