hahaha When I went to look up the answer to Coach501's question in the poll thread, I saw that picture and couldn't resist sharing. Does this mean I'm famous now?

Mr. JV Dad, yes the pitcher was throwing illegal in that game but then we knew that last May. No, it doesn't make you famous, it makes you just another fat softball dad in a pink tee shirt!

I know this is about soccer, but I think the story tells us so much about the stupidity of some of these principals and counties. www.abc2news.com/dpp/news/region/baltimore_county/soccer-teams-dance-ends-seasonThe celebration these players had didn't look over the top, but because some parents from the losing team didn't like it, they complained and the principal of Perry Hall made a stupid decision. My question is, when did celebrating a win become a bad thing? The principal actually reversed his decision... A message from PERRY HALL HIGH SCHOOL Hello, this is your principal Mr. Roberts, After further investigation into the behavior of the Perry Hall soccer team after winning the game with Dulaney High School this past Tuesday November 1st I have made the decision to retract my statement to forfeit the team’s participation in the state regional semi-finals. The intent of my original decision was not to punish the team but to preserve the dignity and character of educational based athletics. Perry Hall High School does not now and will not in the future condone unsportsmanlike behavior. Further appropriate disciplinary actions will be taken. I look forward to working with students and parents to continue to highlight the best of Perry Hall High School.

Here is my response:
Dear Principal Roberts,
Good job reversing your decision. If you had taken some time to actually think about this the other day you would have saved everyone a lot of hassle and you would have saved yourself some embarrassment. Maybe you should try to avoid knee jerk decisions from now on, hmmmmmm?
Thanks
